“Alien” is a long duration performative live installation commenting on the demands of the integration of whiteness placed on the transnational adoptee’s individual body. The documentation investigates the racialization put upon the adoptee, framing a body as it is, thus the requirement of it being framed as the “eternal child”. The photos documents the enhanced alienation of the body in tableau’s with references to childish amusement contrasted to national symbolic buildings.
